Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. Counted among Asia's most cosmopolitan cities, Bangkok was formed as the Thai capital in 1782 by the first monarch of Chakri dynasty. Erawan Shrine
Erawan Shrine was established in 1956. It is locally known as San Phra Phrom. The Shrine is a famous Hindu holy place in the city of Bangkok. Many devotees around the world visit Erawan Shrine to seek blessings by offering garlands, lotus flowers and candles.

Chao Phraya River
Chao Phraya River, which is also known as Mae Nam Chao Phraya, is a foremost river of Thailand. It is located in country's Central Plains for over 220 miles to the Gulf of Thailand. Mae Nam Chao Phraya River is one of major tourist attractions among the Bangkok visitors and from the world too.

Dusit Zoo Bangkok
Dusit Zoo Bangkok is famous for its wildlife viewing and boating among the tourists. It is situated in between Chitlada Palace and Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall, at the central Bangkok. The Zoo is locally known as Khao Din and for the children, it provides ample entertainment facilities to them such as special Children's Zoo, an amusement playground and exciting rides.

Grand Palace
Grand Palace is located in on the eastern banks of the Chao Phraya River. It is a complex that consists of some of the most attractive buildings of Bangkok. The Palace was the grand residence of the king of Thailand between 18th century and the mid-20th century.

National Museum
National Museum was the first public museum of Thailand. It was set up in 1874 by King Chulalongkorn. The Museum boasted of his personal art objects and antiquities, mounted distended animals procured in Europe and the United States, skeletons, rocks and minerals.

Chinatown Bangkok
One of the oldest areas of the city of Bangkok, Chinatown Bangkok is so much famous for its stirring locations. It is spotted with an exciting and massive Chinese gate marks at the entrance to China Town area, at Odeon Circle. Chinatown is stretched towards the Ong Ang Canal.

Siam Ocean World
Siam Ocean World is among the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia. It is an auxiliary of the Oceanis Australia Group. Siam Ocean World spreads across an area of 10,000 square meters situated in two floors. There is a Siam Paragon shopping mall of Bangkok at the basement of Siam Ocean World.

Democracy Monument
Democracy Monument came into existence in 1939. It is situated in between the old Grand Palace and the Dusit Palace in Bangkok. It is public monument glorifying the 1932 revolution through which the rule of absolute monarchy in Thailand was ended.
