Chitwan Tourist Attractions
Chitwan National Park is Chitwan’s prime tourist attraction and holds the credit of being the first national park of the country. Situated in South Nepal, Chitwan National Park was set up in 1973 and is spread over an area of 932km sq. The park, being the country’s natural treasure, is listed among the world heritage sites. The park enhomes seven world class resorts providing the tourist with all requisite facilities. It is home to around 50 species of mammals and around 450 species of birds, with the one horned Rhino and the Royal Bengal tigers being the prime attractions.
